- In 2011, we created a custom Facebook experience for Tyson Foods' Club Tyson.
- Dom & Tom designed, developed and managed:
- One Original Online Scavenger Hunt Contest
- Two original games - the Prize Wheel and Winger - and also created the music.
- Three additional tabs for The Missing Link recipe contest, Barbecue Tour listings, and Recipes.
- We also assist Tyson with managing the page.
The Missing Link tab allows users to submit their recipe to the contest, and view others' submissions and winners.
The Barbecue Tour tab displays a clickable listing of Great American BBQ dates that drive to internal pages with further info about each event, including photos, Google map location, and Twitter feed.
The Recipes tab drives to internal pages with Tyson and Cavanaugh recipes, as well as to external Sam's Club links to purchase the items.
Winger is a casual game in which players attempt to keep hungry BBQ attendees fed at a quickening pace, competing for high scores and to unlock awards and gain more spins on the Prize Wheel. You can also share with friends.
The Prize Wheel is a second casual game in which players spin the wheel to win thousands of Tyson and Cavanaugh prizes. You can also share with friends.
The Scavenger Hunt Contest was the first of it's kind for D&T. Contestants uploaded photos of varying subjects each with a point value depending on the difficulty.
For example, snapping a picture of the Grand Canyon was worth more points than a picture of someone juggling.
Digital photographs could be uploaded to the Facebook page or through the contest's smart phone app.
Players were able to track their points as well as the rest of the contestants on the leaderboard.
Contestants could also participate in Mini Bonus Hunts – a photograph task given via the Facebook page with a time limit for submission. The contest created a very involved community, centered around assisting one another with photo submissions, experiences while locating assigned photo tasks, and Mini Bonus Hunts.
